We follow a grade R syllabus and give detailed bi-annual assessments on your childs progress.

All teachers have a relevant and up to date first aid qualification.

At the end of each year, we have a concert, prize giving and graduation ceremony.

There is a weekly newsletter to let parents know what is happening at the school.

Other activities include:
Sand and water play,
Jungle gym and swings,
Occasional outings. Previous venues have included Wiggle Waggle play centre, Boulders beach and the Baxter Theatre
Dress up days,
Arts and crafts,
Bakerman every Friday.

We have Blue Balloon T-shirts available to purchase as well as tracksuits and long-sleeved winter shirts.




There is a professional photographer who comes in to take class and individual pictures.


Fees

2012

Registration
R300 upon application which includes a facecloth and sunhat with the child's name embroidered on it, as well as a Blue Balloon T-shirt.

Stationery Fee
· A R350 Stationery fee is due at the beginning of the year. This covers all paper, books, stationery and art/craft equipment for the year, BUT a R100 discount is offered on the stationery fee if January school fees are paid by the 7th of Jan 2012.

Half day - until 12:30pm
R1200 pm January to December

Aftercare only - between 12:30pm and 5:45pm
R450 pm per month
Casual rate: R50 per day

Full Day - up to 5:45pm
R1400 pm January to December


Holiday Care
No charge for holidays for Blue Balloon children
Siblings R40 per day
Others R50 per day
(Price includes 2x snacks per day)
R100 Discount for siblings who attend aftercare / R100 Discount for 2nd sibling who attends Blue Balloon

School terms correspond to Government schools.


Meals

Lunch and afternoon snacks are provided for full day children.

Breakfast may be sent with your child.
